Society Leadership
The Society is guided by a Board of Directors, comprised of elected officers from the previous and current years. The Board is charged with expediting the business of the Society and managing access to facilities. The Board meets at quarterly executive sessions.
Underneath the “business of the Society” umbrella are many responsibilities. Club officers establish schedules and staffing for events, plan programming and speakers, collaborate with local partners, manage equipment, develop funding strategies, and communicate with membership,
Nomination of officers for the next calendar year begins in the Fall, with elections being held at the December members meeting.
