This Friday May 4th, 2018 at 8:00pm is the monthly meeting of the Lima Astronomical Society at Schoonover Observatory. A short business meeting will take place followed by a program on "Black Holes" by member Randy Wapperom.
Viewing with the newly updated Celestron 14 inch telescope and fully computerized mount will follow the program which is always weather permitting. Don't forget the club has a new astro-video camera and media system. The City of Lima provided a fresh coat of paint to the meeting room and a new floor. New pictures and framed posters were hung and a new feature of a Members Astro Gallery where members present their own astronomical pictures.
Come join us this Friday. There are learning experiences even if it's cloudy.3 weeks ago
